So, I was walking around Car Craft Summer Nationals here in Minnesota, and what do I round the corner to see?
Well before I tell you, I want to say that this car here has captivated me ever since I saw this photograph here. It's story and sheer unbelievability have put it in my mind as one of my "Hero Cars."
A car that I think is very, very cool and has big history. Most of the time, they are cars made by big names like Don Prudhomme or Chip Foose, but sometime they are ridiculous cars that wouldn't, or couldn't be built today.
This is the latter.
Getting back on subject, I turned the corner to find, sitting before my disbelieving eyes, a Hero Car.
This car.
This Kaiser Darrin gasser.
Not a copy, this very one!
It still fills me with chills that this very car was within my very touch!
What I had not realized was the car that had accompanied it.
THIS Kaiser Darrin: drivenbychaos.deviantart.com/a...
I had a chance to talk to the owner of both these amazing machines, and their stories are amazing!
